Over the last 3 years, I redesigned the chalk menus for 4 of the 5 Theo’s locations in the New Orleans metro-area and continue to update them 1-2x per year. I wanted to utilize the burgundy found in throughout their logo & decor while bringing in some other complimentary tones like eggplant, gold, & sage green. I started with the MidCity location, and had the idea to mimic the iconic MidCity “heart” logo as a focal point—but with pizza of course! From there, I used similar designs for each location with slight changes to fit the different menu board sizes, accenting with drawings of classic fresh pizza toppings. It’s an honor to work with the #1 pizza shop in NOLA, as regularly voted by Gambit readers every year!
